What we never publish
We never publish email addresses, phone numbers, named staff contacts or any supplied contact list for festivals or venues. Where we hold such details from industry research, they stay private to our small review team, are used only to verify a listing or answer an organiser, and are removed on request.
Claimed listings
An organiser who claims a listing may ask us to publish one general enquiry page or form. We publish it only after we approve it, and only if it is a general channel — never a personal address or direct line.
Your account
If you create an account we store your email, the festivals, places and themes you follow, and the alert types you switched on — with the exact time you gave consent and the time you withdrew it. Nothing is on by default.
When we email you
Only for the specific things you opted into: a programme is announced, tickets go on sale, dates are confirmed, or a relevant new event appears near you. We do not email you for ordinary record edits, and we never send marketing or share your address with festivals or third parties.
Your control
Turn any alert off at any moment, or clear every follow and alert choice in one click from my alerts. Ask us to delete your account entirely and we will.
Images and copyright
We use no photographs, posters, logos, stock images or generated pictures. If a rights holder ever grants permission, an image appears only after that approval is recorded.
