Editorial standards and terms
What we publish
Festival name and aliases, city and region, dates and date notes, programme and ticket status, themes and strands, accessibility notes, and links to the festival's own website, programme, booking and pass pages. Every record carries a confidence label and the date it was last verified.
What we never publish
Named contacts, email addresses, phone numbers and any contact-list data supplied to us. Those details stay in an internal, access-controlled area. A claimed listing may show a general enquiry link only, and only after an organiser asks for it and we approve it.
Imagery
This MVP publishes no photographs, logos, stock imagery, generated imagery or abstract art. Nothing is copied, scraped or hotlinked from festival or platform websites. Listings are typographic by design.
How we verify
Each field is traced to a public source — usually the festival's own site — recorded on the sources page with the date it was checked. Where a fact cannot be confirmed we mark it unknown rather than guess.
Neutrality
We cover festivals regardless of which ticketing platform they use, and booking buttons always send you to the festival's own official page.
Corrections
Organisers and the public can request a correction at any time. Verified changes appear on the updates page.
Terms of use
The directory is provided as-is for information. Dates, prices and availability are set by each festival; always confirm on the official site before travelling or booking. Links to third-party sites are not endorsements. My Film Festival Finder is an independent product concept created by Action Marketing Works Ltd, currently in public beta.
